Last year's resolutions weren't winners. I looked at all of them and I was like, "well, i kinda did that one. and yeah, i guess that one i just flat out broke." so this year i'm going to keep my resolutions to myself. but here's a big hint: they're very similar to last year's resolutions.

instead, i will give you my Motto, my theme, my slogan for this year, which is:

Keep On Keeping On.

Some of the best movies i saw this year (i know I'm forgetting some): Lost in Translation, 28 Days Later, Matchstick Men, School of Rock, Spirited Away, Elf, Chopper, The Apartment, Kill Bill.

Best Book: The Anomalies by Joey Goebel

Best CDs that I actually bought: Give Up by the Postal Service, It Still Moves by My Morning Jacket, Lifted by Bright Eyes

Best Trip of 2003: my spring visit to NYC

Overall, I have this great feeling that 2004 is going to blow 2003's socks off. 2003 was the calm before the storm. a good storm.
