i was lying in bed last night when suddenly the word "snarky" popped in my head. i don't know where it came from, and i suspect the involvement of space aliens.

anyway, snarky is now my favorite word. i checked snarky.com, but it's some sort of eastern european site, as far as i can tell.

but anyway, snarky is an awesome word, almost as good as "sassy," which is a word i don't use enough.

i saw the most awesome girl the other day. i was sitting in the library lobby, and this girl comes out, and she's got heavy eyeliner going on, which rocks. and then she takes the cover off a trash can and starts digging through it! okay, well, it was a recycling can, for paper i think, but still! that was pretty cool. it was actually cooler that it wasn't really a trash can, because that's just kind of gross. but still, taking the cover off a recycling can and digging through it, that's just not done, except by bums. i know it doesn't sound like much, but really, nobody does that. i could do it, but i don't. and i probably wouldn't do it if people were watching. but she did. and she was probably very sassy and snarky, too.

but i didn't dare talk to her because she probably would've scoffed and then, i don't know, do something very Nancy Spungen-ish.
