SF, TV, and more

I'm having a TV conflict. I want to watch Scrubs tonight, but I also want to watch Cracking Up, and they're on at the same time. Of course, Cracking Up features everyone's favorite Coppola-relative (not counting Nic Cage or Sophia or Francis or even Talia Shire [named after hobbit land! can't beat that!], but still), Jason Schwartzman. Anyway, I'm sure Cracking Up will win because it's not my TV and that's what my roommates will want to watch.

Anyway, I have signed up with Blogspot but I'm still not totally sure I'm actually gonna move over there. Diaryland has a special place in my heart, and I might not want to leave.

Also: I have disliked Jim Carrey ever since he went serious, and I really haven't liked any of his "serious" movies so much. And I refuse to see Man On The Moon because there's no way Jim Carrey can be Andy Kaufman. Also, he participated in the horror show called The Grinch, and that's almost unforgivable. Anyway, that said, I still really want to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I think this may be the movie that makes me like Jim Carrey again, or at least makes me grudgingly admit that's he's not so bad. But I can't be positive until I actually see it, of course.

I'm going to San Francisco this weekend. A very short visit. I'll meet up with my parents for three days and two nights (which is sucky, if you think about it, because two of those days involve air travel). Not sure what to do there. I was thinking about going down to City Hall or wherever and see the marriages going on, but I don't really think that's something that should be a tourist attraction. Anyway, if you know of any cool places to go in SF, let me know.
