i gave myself a haircut yesterday. i got home from washing dishes (and i wash good, people. i'm an excellent dishwasher. like maybe the best) and i was gonna hop into the shower, but in the bathroom i grabbed some scissors, wet my hair, and started cutting. i did a good job, too. pretty much the same cut i'd get at the barber.

i knew i could really fuck it up, but i didn't care if i did. i just started cutting. and i thought that was very punk rock of me.

right now it's a normal haircut, but i'm thinking next time a mohawk.

which reminds me: i picked up "Mohawk" by Richard Russo, thinking it'd be a heartfelt history of punk, but it's totally not. it's about some working class town. NOT COOL, Russo. totally misleading.

i also saw Wet Hot American Summer. it was awesome because it was made by and starred a some of people from The State. or the guys currently in Stella.
