Spike Jonze and Sofia Coppola filed for divorce?! When did this happen?

I just found out today, because I was wondering if Giovanni Ribisi's character in Lost in Translation was based on Spike Jonze... I knew that Anna Faris's character was supposedly based on Cameron Diaz. So anyway, I looked it up on IMDb, and I found out about the divorce.

At first I was sad about the whole thing, which is strange, being sad about a celebrity divorce (Uma and Ethan Hawke's divorce had the same effect on me). I guess it seemed like their marriage could last, unlike so many celebrity marriages.

But look on the bright side: My dream of marrying into the Coppola family is once again viable.
